About
I grew up inside the noise.
My parents are real estate agents. From as far back as I can remember, the phone was always ringing. Texts at dinner. Emails at midnight. Someone's tap was leaking, someone's tenant had locked themselves out, someone had a question about a lease three months from renewal.
I started helping out on the property management side of the business: the admin, the calls, the chasing. You learn quickly that most of it isn't hard. It's just relentless.
The work is heavy because there's too much of it.
Good property managers are some of the sharpest operators I've met. They run big books with real responsibilities. The problem isn't them. It's that most of the day gets eaten by messages, follow-ups, and coordination that doesn't actually need a human brain. It just needs to happen.
Add more doors, and you add more noise. Historically, the only way to scale has been to hire more people to absorb it.
Maple is my answer.
An AI employee that handles the admin. Calls, emails, SMS. Answered, triaged, actioned. Not a chatbot. Not another inbox. Not a workflow tool that needs an hour of your week to maintain. A employee that shows up for the work nobody wants to do.
The shape of the job changes when you have one. Humans become the reviewers, not the doers. You stop being buried by volume and start making the judgement calls that actually matter.
The same team, a bigger book.
That's what I want for the people I grew up watching work too hard. Teams that take on more properties, more owners, more tenants, without the usual headcount tax. Better margins for the business. A quieter phone at dinner.
I'm building Maple in Sydney. If any of this rings true, say hi: sunny@maplemanage.com.
